Not the scary Hitchcock movie,
but just birds that occur in the Netherlands.
When I started with nature photography back in 2011, I mainly focussed on insects and every now and then I took pictures of mushrooms, reptiles and an occasional bird.
However, in 2017 I decided to spend some more time on bird photography. Main reason was the lack of insects during the winter season.
In the fall of 2017 and the spring of 2018, I regularly visited the "Oostvaardersplassen", one of the bigger nature reserves in the Netherlands and the perfect location for bird spotting.
Ever since, photographing birds has been a permanent part of my photo safari's. So far I have managed to capture 117 different species during my trips through the Dutch nature.
